Course Abstract: This event covers the fundamentals of functional assessment, including descriptive assessments and functional analyses. We’ll then turn to the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and the benefits of this approach, before examining how PFAs lead into Skill-Based Treatment.

• Participants will be able to describe the purpose of functional assessments
• Participants will be able to list 3 types of functional assessments
• Participants will be able to describe how a Practical Functional Assessment is conducted

Presenter Bio:

AnnaMarie Stoudenmire is a BCBA who has held certification for 9 years. She has worked with RBTs for the duration of that 9 years. AnnaMarie has been implementing SBT since 2020 across numerous clients and has served as a moderator in the PF/SBT Community group throughout that time, providing guidance to members on SBT processes.
