Clinical Flexibility within the SBT Process

Join Emily Kearney & AnnaMarie Stoudenmire to learn about Clinical Flexibility within the SBT Process

Course Abstract: While the SBT process is a packaged intervention that includes a number of required components in a certain order, generally the success of this package relies on the implementors customizing it to meet the needs of the learner and to follow the guideline that performance dictates the speed at which implementors move through the process. In this webinar, we will give an overview of the dimensions of the process that must be held firm for integrity, and then review the dimensions that can be adjusted per learner and give examples of how to do this across the steps of the process.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe why some components of the process are non-negotiable and others can be adjusted
  • Create a shaping sequence for each step of the process
  • Describe the conditions under which one would adjust dimensions of the steps based on learner performance
